Washington, D.C. - Gay marriage moves one step closer to being legal in our nation's capital as it passed the first vote of the city's council by a vote of 11-2.  [Read here]

Little Rock, Arkansas - Mike Huckabee is under alot of political pressure for granting clemency to Maurice Clemmons, the man who is believed to have shot the 4 cops in Washington State.  For what it is worth, Huckabee did the right thing at the time - but the system failed to keep Clemmons off the streets since his first release and continued life of crime.  [Read here]

New York, New York - Like father, like son.  John Gotti, Jr. has a fourth deadlocked jury.  [Read here]

Baton Rogue, Louisiana - The Louisiana Supreme Court unanimously held that juveniles do not have a right to a jury trial when they are tried in juvenile courts.  [Read here]

Washington, D.C. - A suspect accused of being involved on the attack of the U.S.S. Cole will be tried before a military tribunal which makes some question why some "terrorists" are tried before a military tribunal and others will be tried in civilian courts.  Of course people question it when they lump everyone as a "terrorist".  Look at the circumstances of the crimes they are accused and then you will see where they are tried.  [Read here]

Jefferson County, Alabama - Awesome.  A woman named Jesus Christ was called for jury duty.  Even better, she was dismissed from service because of her disruptive nature.  [Read here]
